Student Leadership Development – Secondary

Student Leadership Development

At SISHK, the Student Leadership Department aims to develop our student leaders to be:

  • Committed
  • Caring
  • Reflective
  • Principled
  • Excellent
  • Balanced

Students are exposed to the different tiers of leadership development where they can join formal leadership councils, or participate in school projects and events in contributing to a vibrant community. Below is a snapshot of our student leadership groups:

The focus of leadership development is via experiential learning. Students can experience leadership opportunities and put them in practice via our annual cohort outdoor camps, overseas WOW trips, CAS trips and local learning journeys.

Moreover, when students develop leadership competencies in managing their day-to-day interactions with their peers in leadership groups, CCAs, Houses and other student-initiated activities.

We believe that every student is a leader, and leadership development should be differentiated based on students’ readiness.
