Creativity, Activity and Service

CAS@SISHK

CAS stands for creativity, activity and service. Our DP CAS programme aims to develop students into lifelong learners who are curious to explore beyond their personal boundaries. Students take part in meaningful and enjoyable CAS experiences to contribute to the local as well as international community through sustainable actions.

DP students provided a one-on-one, face-to-face consultation service to the elderly for the use of smartphones.
DP students assisted primary students with their homework.
Students organised and ran a fashion show to raise funds for the needy.

At the 2022 CAS camp, our students took part in an inquiry-based project. The objective of the project was to raise students’ awareness of the urban problems in Hong Kong, and reflect on how improved understanding of the community would benefit them in their voluntary service work. The project was designed such that our students experienced the different stages of an inquiry-based approach to learning.

Below is a presentation done by one of the groups to discuss how noise pollution affects the living standard of Mong Kok residents.
